The second selling exhibition by the Norfolk Contemporary Craft Society in the Main Barn at Creake Abbey.
Tuesday 18th to Sunday 23rd June, 10am to 4pm.
Established for over 40 years, the Norfolk Contemporary Craft Society has been renowned, both locally and nationally, for its high quality and stylish work. Over 20 members will be exhibiting at Creake Abbey in this year’s Summer Exhibition.
Demonstrations include:
Tuesday 18th June; June Croll – Loom weaving
Wednesday 19th June; Charles Sharpe – Glass strip cutting and construction AND Jill Sharpe – quilting
Thursday 20th June; Ann Lamb – Hand engraving
Friday 21st June; June Gentle – Hand building ceramics
Saturday 22nd June; Prue Dobinson – Introducing papermaking from plants AND Marian Williams – Textile printing with plants
Sunday 23rd June; Nic Gibson – Textile insects
The demonstrations will be ongoing throughout the day. Please watch the demonstrator in action and ask questions as there are no formal talks being offered.
