ITALIAN POP-UP RESTAURANT – The Creake Abbey Sagra or festival of seasonal food

On 7th October 2011 celebrated chef Anna Mosesson cooked up a storm for our first Italian Pop-up Restaurant. Italian wines were available to taste and buy from Stefano Milani of Selezione Zanotto Wines plus Olive oil tastings with Dermott Sales.


Selection of antipasti & bruschette, Salami, Bresaola, Lomo &
Pecorino with local honey and Sicilian lemon compote
White bean and garlic bruschetta & fresh tomato and basil bruschetta


Orecchiette with wild mushrooms


Cinghiale (English wild boar) with juniper berries
Served with roasted vegetables

Vegetarian option available


Autumn fruits with cream and Amaretti biscuits
