October Farmers’ Market

The October Farmers’ Market takes place on Saturday 4th October between 9.30am and 1pm.

55 of the region’s best food and drink producers will be at Creake Abbey to supply outstanding fresh seasonal produce including meat, vegetables and fruit, cakes, tray bakes, dairy produce, artisan beer, apple juice, artisan breads, morning goods, puddings, pies, tarts (sweet and savoury), olives and prepared meals all made with the finest local ingredients.    The Café and Food Hall will be open with bookings for lunch taken from 1.30pm.  Outside the Food Hall the Café team will be serving hot food, tea and coffee to take away.

The One Stop Nature Shop – Has everything for observing nature. They are pleased to offer customers carrying a receipt from the Café & Food Hall a special discount on the Viking Navilux binocular, at just £99 saving £30. Bring your receipt to the One Stop Nature Shop stall here at Creake Abbey on market days.

In the East Barn – Sandringham Fruit Farm, Rhubarb and Custard (puddings), Pye Bakery, Great Walsingham Barns pies puds and tarts, Amber Chocolates, Time for Tea cakes, and Norton’s Dairy.

In the Tin Barn – Good Taste (Provencal delicacies), The Ole Slewfoot Brewery, Chilli Fundamentals (NEW), Coffee Magic, Rita Holland Sheepskins and accessories, The Fruit Pig Company (award winning pork), The Norfolk Sloe Company and Marsh Pig Charcuterie (also award winning).

Outside – Glu_10_3 cakes and sausage rolls (plus lots more gluten free goodies), Jelly Cottage Plants, Esser’s of Wisbech, Fen Farm Venison, Mr Kew’s Pies, J&D Papworth Butchers, Thistlefield Soups, Manor Farm vegetables and flowers,, Fielding Cottage Goat’s Cheese, Cakes n pies’, Castle Quail, Willie Weston’s Fish, Summerville House Vegetarian Products, Floppy Chicken, Bramble Flowers, Edward’s Cordials and Algy’s Popcorn and birdseed from Bintree Farm Shop.  S R Brown will join us periodically with fresh berries and jam made on the farm.
