THIS MONTHS BREED
The Lincoln Red is a breed with ancient origins.  The ancestors of this magnificent breed are thought to have been brought in by the Viking invaders of Britain.

THE ETHOS
At each “Steak Night” we will be celebrating the traditional breeds of the UK which have been unchanged for centuries.  It is these breeds, and the stewardship of the farmers who look after them, that shape the way the English countryside looks today.  The stockmanship passed down through the generations remains much the same as it was centuries ago as the farmers chosen carefully balance the rearing of their animals with care of the environment.
