29 specialist nurseries attended. Raising funds for Wells Community Hospital

Good weather helped to ensure that over 1500 people attended the Plant Lovers’ Day held on Saturday 31st May 2014.  29 specialist nurseries offered an enormous range of plants to the visiting public who left with armfuls for their gardens.  The private gardens at Creake Abbey, which this year included a grass maze for children, were much enjoyed.  Wells Community Hospital saw plenty of interest in its services as advertised on their stand within the Plant Lovers’ Day area.  Details of funds raised will be published once the accounts have been finalised.  Thank you to all the nurseries, organisers, volunteers and the public for coming and making it such a fantastic day for all.
