Resident artist Dany Evans together and Charlotte Chapman from Sugarlicious, both tenants at Creake Abbey, have organised another brilliant Easter Egg Hunt for children which is running now till Sunday 14th April (closed Monday 8th April). Building on the success of last year’s hunt which took children on a magical tour of the abbey ruins, around the shops and the lanes between, this year’s hunt includes the opportunity to take part in three creative craft activities at the same time. There will be an entry fee of £1.50 for each child taking part in the hunt. Everyone who enters will receive a prize.
With thanks to Mable’s Paint Pot in Burnham Market for sponsoring the mini eggs.
The craft activities (small additional charge) are as follows and take part in the Main Barn, just beyond the shops…..bring a coat!
1) Make a cute wooden spoon bunny or chick.
2) Create hanging Springtime bugs ( ladybirds, spiders, butterflies etc) out of clay and decorate with paint and sparkle.
3) Limited edition Easter pictures, drawn by myself to colour and decorate.
10am to 4pm except Monday 8th April when the shops are closed.
