SMOCK Norfolk Tuff Dogs Ltd Abahna
Sue Rainsford of SMOCK Norfolk, said: “Our beautiful soft washed denim SMOCK garments are designed and created in Norfolk and inspired by workwear worn by local fishermen for generations. With Liberty of London prints, spots and tartans lining the Christmas range for adults and children, they are the perfect present. Creake Abbey is an ideal venue for me. I love the chance to meet people, show them what I make and offer a ‘made to order’ service as well as special show prices.”
Claire Croft of Abahna, said: “The launch of Abahna in 2005 was inspired by the exotic bathing ceremonies and spas of India and the Far East. Our beautifully packaged bathing products, eau de parfums and scented candles are produced in our factory in Fakenham. They use the finest ingredients from carefully chosen English suppliers and are now stocked by some of the most prestigious retailers around the world. We can’t wait to showcase our latest range of fragrances – from Mountain Flowers & Spring Water to Rose Otto & Burnt Amber – at the wonderful Creake Abbey Christmas Gift Fair.”
This year the fair is joined by Henry Stephen, artist in metal with his monumental horse sculpture (as seen recently in Holt’s Appleyard Courtyard) and, at the other end of the spectrum by Hazel Millington with her delicate fused glass art. Home furnishings by Polly Baker Textiles decorated with pheasants and foxes sit alongside stoneware ceramics by The Swaffham Potter.
Our resident boutiques will also be full of stunning winter goodies and the Food Hall will be taking orders for turkey, duck, goose and beef as well as from the huge range of cheeses on offer from our resident World Cheese Judge, Peter Bone. We have worked hard to source some brilliant ‘foodie’ stocking fillers too. The Café will keep busy shoppers fueled throughout the day.
Hope to see you here!
